Here are some more pictures as the 496 build moves forward.

Here’s some fresh pictures of the freshly rebuilt TH350 that is going behind the 496.

This trans has been tore down, all the internals replaced with heavy duty components from TCI and retains no automatic features . The fully manual valve-body is a reverse unit also from TCI.

The trans will be mated to a TCI Street Fighter torque converter that will flash right at 2800 RPM’s hopefully to take advantage of the rectangular port heads and Lunati Voodoo cam profile.

With a 3.73:1 Gear in the rear..this just might be a little fun!!

There are some new components that have arrived just this week for the Suspension over haul, and you can see those by clicking on the “Suspension” link at the top of this page.

The Lower control arms arrived, and the Chris Alston Chassis Works Cage is also here.

Some shots of the 496 Build,

The block is decked, align honed, and bored.  This is the block Assembled to check for rod and crank clearance in the bottom of the block.    Now that it has been checked it has to be taken back apart and everything will be checked for final clearnace and assembled.
