As you might have noticed, again, There are some changes around here that may make the blog a little more functional.
Sorry, I’ve been sorely remiss in posting, simply because, while there are some minor changes to the Monte project, not much has happened. You can view some of the reasons for this by going to the newly created history page. The biggest development is that I’ve moved the car to a shop in KY. Again, I was hoping that one of the shops in my area would work with this project, said they would, and then dithered around for close to 10 weeks and accomplished exactly zero forward progress, and disgusted, I finally pulled the car and sent it to KY.
So that’s what’s new with the Monte, while I wait for the project to move forward, I’ve added some content and deleted other stuff that was starting to age and was no longer really applicable.
Of particular note is the new Upgrades List page which will allow you to see what parts have been selected, what they cost, give you a part number, and if available, I’ve tried to include the manufactures website. I’m hoping this will help others to plan their projects.
There is also a page dedicated to the 496 Build up and that will soon be populated with pictures of the build as it progresses.
The Racing page is where you will find some videos, right now I don’t have any, but I’ll put up some of Dave’s 72 Monte racing out in CA.
