About

I started this blog in 2007, actually, it was originally a very simple web site done with MS FrontPage 2003, and over time it has evolved into the WordPress format you see here today.

At time, It’s delved into politics and non car related stuff in the past, but I found that once I got going with political writings, they more or less took the blog away from it’s intended purpose, and that was to document and track the cars progress while it is being restored. So I banned politics, my hit rate went to nil, and I have a very few people that may view it from time to time but it really doesn’t matter I guess…its a blog about a car nothing more nothing less. I might throw up a post now and again about something not Monte related, but for the most part it’s a Monte blog, for Montes like mine.

I suppose to non gear-heads out there this would seem rather boring, but it helps to pass the time in between  various phases of the project as they move forward.

The Monte Carlo this blog is about has been a project I’ve wanted to do for years, and now at 43 I have some of the resources available to me to do so.

Most of the cars make over is centered on speed, It will see mostly street but some strip action and once it reaches the track I will decide on other options to continue it’s building.

So if you’re here and you’re reading the blog, thanks for visiting, and I hope some of the stuff here was of interest to you, and if not, well there is probably a million other blogs out there, so you’ll find something that you like…
